The Team
Monetization and Market Intelligence (MMI) at Jobber is accountable for shaping our monetization roadmap and driving smarter revenue growth through market insights, competitive intelligence, and optimized pricing strategy. This cross-functional team supports Go-to-Market (GTM), Product, and Finance partners with both core pricing strategy and l pricing programs that unlock revenue.
Our mission is to help Jobber win in a competitive SaaS market by maximizing value capture at every point in the customer lifecycle and enabling teams with best-in-class pricing strategy, processes, and guidance.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Monetization, the Commercial Pricing Manager is Jobber’s lead for negotiated revenue optimization — including promotion strategy, discount governance, deal desk pricing frameworks, channel pricing and incentive programs.
This role will design, govern, and operationalize pricing programs that help Jobber win more business while protecting and expanding net revenue. You will help define how we price, manage discount rules and promotions across direct and self-serve channels. You will partner with RevOps and Sales leadership on deal structure, and build repeatable processes that balance velocity with value capture.
The Commercial Pricing Manager will:
Lead design and governance of commercial pricing policies, including negotiated deals, promotions, incentives, and channel offers.
Define pricing guardrails and approval workflows to ensure alignment between sales execution and company revenue goals.
Partner with RevOps on deal desk process optimization and tooling that supports scalable negotiated pricing.
Partner with GTM leadership (Sales, CS), Finance, and Product to align on pricing strategy, approval thresholds, and promotional calendars.
Build and maintain pricing playbooks, deal desk guidelines, tools, and self-serve decision frameworks.
Use data to assess discount effectiveness, win/loss performance, price realization, and revenue leakage.
Establish KPIs and reporting to track negotiated revenue performance and program impact.
Support forecasting and scenario planning for pricing and promotions.
To be successful, you will need:
Extensive experience with pricing strategy, revenue optimization, deal desk, discount and/or promotions programs — ideally in B2B SaaS or subscription-based businesses.
Track record of partnering with sales, rev ops, and finance to launch and scale pricing programs or deal desk functions.
Strong quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to inform pricing decisions and measure impact.
Experience defining pricing KPIs / reporting to inform leadership decisions.
Outstanding communication skills with experience influencing cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders.
Comfortable presenting pricing insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to business leaders.
Bias for action in a dynamic environment — comfortable with ambiguity and driving clarity.
Fintech, payments experience considered a bonus.
Location:
We believe great collaboration is intentional, and sometimes that means coming together in person to build, brainstorm, and connect. To support this, the role is open to candidates based in one of our hub cities: Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver, or Kitchener-Waterloo.
Compensation:
At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $98,300, a midpoint of $115,700, and a maximum salary of $133,100, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling.
We design our compensation to reflect each new hire’s skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual’s current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
